A lecture on intellectual disability

Duration: 1.5 hours
Target audience: Disability rights organizations, municipalities, LSS personnel, study associations, individuals

Just as with all relationships, a treatment characterized by respect, humility and empathy. This is how a trusting relationship is created and preserved in contact with people who have an intellectual disability.
With the right support and adaptations, people with intellectual disabilities can participate actively in society and achieve their full potential.
My name is Jeanette Fridh and I have worked with functional law for many years. I live in Malmö and I have two children and two grandchildren. My now adult son has IF and epilepsy and although I have always had a great interest in society, my son's IF became a reason why I got involved in functional law.
For me, it has always been important to spread knowledge based on my own experiences. My lectures are based precisely on personal experiences and I clarify many question marks during the lecture.
I offer both interactive lectures and workshops.
Completely according to what you prefer.
